Bruce: Welcome and good morning this is the "Sentinel Sunday Morning Roundtable." I am joined here today by syndicated columnist and extremely handsome blogger J.T. Friedman. I am also joined by MSNBC super-pundit and stout progressive Keith Olbermann.

Good morning gentleman, let's get started right away with the first question.

This summer turned out to be one to remember, an economy on the rebound but a president faltering on a keystone issue. What is your take on the healthcare debate so far and its effect on the Obama presidency?

Friedman: Well Bruce, clearly Obama knew healthcare was going to be a battle after studying its failure during the Clinton presidency. However I believe he overestimated his ability to swoon average Americans with his speaking ability, and has clearly failed to convince citizens that his healthcare reform will do what he says it will do.

Olbermann: Ha! I scoff at your insular assertions that our great leader will ever fail at anything. Republicans are blocking healthcare reform because they hate the fact there is a black man in the White House and want to keep feeding the crumbs off their fat bellies to the starving poor.

Freidman: Republicans? They have no power in Washington; this is clearly an inter-Democratic debate. Liberals are simply passing the blame onto somebody else because their healthcare bills have fallen flat.

Bruce: Some have claimed Obama needs to change the debate on healthcare. They say he has worked himself into a corner on this debate. He claims healthcare in this country is a disaster, yet spends so much time assuring people their healthcare will not change if they like it. Your thoughts, Keith?

Olbermann: Comrade…err…uh President Obama has never failed at anything. He does not need to change the debate, Americans need to transform their needs. They need to stop being so racist and stupid. Stop watching Fox News just because they tell you what you want to hear. We should be forcing people to watch me every night with my fabulous bushy eyebrows. They're clearly the main attraction.

Friedman: Clearly Obama is running on empty when it comes to logic. If we like our healthcare then why do we need to change it? You want to cut costs and provide more coverage, but when has the government ever done this? Obama laughs off how the Postal Service sucks at delivering mail, but then promises the government option will never 'pull the plug on grandma.'
